1. Things to do

First things, first, I want to get it out in the open that Temecula certainly has more than these 6 things to offer.

I would say that your preferences can play a significant role in what you find to be most interesting in this place.

But here are just some of my personal top 6 things about Temecula that I loved.

If you’re an adventurer at heart, Temecula is the place to be. Not only does it give you the thrill of doing fun and exciting, once-in-a-lifetime activities, but it also adds in some moments of serenity and calmness. You get the best of both worlds here!

Although it is famous as a wine country, there’s more to Temecula than you can ever imagine.

For example, I visited so many historic locations during my visit here and learned a lot about the monumental significance of these places.

You can also visit their farmer’s market while you’re here and check out their local produce.

They also have different parks and gardens where you can spend your afternoons relaxing.

If you’re up for an out-of-this-world escapade, Temecula is known for hot air balloon rides overlooking the county’s numerous vineyards and citrus groves. It’s an exciting, breathtaking, thrilling experience for us adventurous folks.

2. Restaurants in Old Temecula

Just like its wineries, Temecula is also well known for good food that is out of this world.

With so many locally owned bars, cafés, and restaurants, there’s no shortage of excellent food places here in Temecula.

I was lucky enough to have had the chance to visit some of the best restaurants in the area.

From cozy coffee shops with delicious pastries and baked food to Italian restaurants that serve handcrafted salads, pizzas, and sandwiches, Temecula’s contribution to foodies is unmatched!

Most of the restaurants I visited were long-standing places that have been around for decades.

This made it all the more authentic regarding the whole experience, ambiance as well as the taste of the food.

Another thing I loved the most was the fact that many of these places were pet friendly. So, it was a win-win visiting these restaurants.

3. Wineries

Wineries are what Temecula is known for. So there’s no question about visiting wineries when you’re here.

Even if you don’t have the time to check out all the other things that Temecula is known for, make sure you take the time out for one or two of their wineries. You will not regret it.

One place that I would definitely recommend is Europa Village. I thoroughly enjoyed all the wines I tasted from this vineyard and winery.

As the name suggests, it’s like a small village with 2 different wineries where you can taste their authentically made wines.

You can be sure that whatever type of wine you like, be it Natural wine, white, or red; I’m sure they will have something for you or maybe even a better version! My personal favorite was the Garnacha 2019 and the Pinot Grigio 2020.

If you think this isn’t quite enough for you, hold on to your horses because they are opening another winery in the village called the Vienza Winery by 2023.

From tasting delicious food to rich wines, get ready to enjoy a luxurious stay at the Europa Village when you’re in Temecula. Believe me; you wouldn’t regret it!

They even have non-alcoholic wine for pregnant women, so don’t worry about missing out if you happen to be pregnant when you make this trip. You can still have just as much fun as anyone else.
